Your tax-deductible donations support the program by allowing us to hire skilled facilitators, pay Community Advocates, travel to and from prisons, rent rehearsal and performance space, and purchase materials.

VOLUNTEER
We are always in need of help behind the scenes. If you have skills in graphic design, photography, videography, nonprofit law, accounting, program evaluation, or grant writing and want to be involved, we'd love to hear from you!
Unfortunately, we are unable to have volunteers visit the prison with us due to rigorous background check requirements.
WORK WITH US
We bring our workshops into jails, prisons, halfway houses, and re-entry programs. We also partner with theatres and community organizations on workshops and performances. If you know people affected by incarceration and think they might benefit from Voices Unbarred, or if you would like to host a performance, let us know!
